This is achieved through a series of workshops in which accomplished and successful artists provide guidance and mentorship to aspiring individuals, equipping them with the tools they need to succeed in the entertainment industry. The workshops offer hands-on practical experience in a range of creative disciplines, including painting, singing, instrument-playing, and dancing. Aspiring artists can learn from their role models and receive constructive feedback, giving them a clear roadmap for breaking into the industry and achieving excellence.

IMPACT UP TO DATE

Tarama Rwanda boasts a well-established and active global network of approximately 10,000 creatives, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and youth, with over 1,000 community members based in Rwanda.

Tarama Rwanda maintains strong partnerships with the Ministry of Youth and Arts in Rwanda as our line institution, alongside over 50 partners including embassies, private companies, NGOs, educational institutions—including universities and high schools—and influential individuals. These partners span across Rwanda, East African countries, Nigeria, South Africa, the USA, and Europe.

Through seasonal capacity-building mentorship programs, Tarama Rwanda has delivered hands-on, experiential learning with global industry leaders in entrepreneurship, digital technology, music, fashion, dance, and poetry. These impactful programs have directly engaged over 12,000 individuals across six districts, reaching local communities and over 23 schools. In partnership with the Embassy of the State of Israel to Rwanda and Agahozo-Shalom Youth Village, these initiatives have fostered growth and development among Rwanda's youth and aspiring creatives.

Tarama Rwanda has successfully organized four summits and two festivals, attracting over 4,500 participants, including creatives, heads of state, scholars, private sector leaders, and government representatives. These events have fostered significant dialogue on cooperation for sustainable cultural and creative industries across Africa. Showcasing talents from various countries, with a strong focus on Rwanda's own artists, the events featured electrifying music performances, fashion shows, DJ sets, and both traditional and modern dance.

We have hired and partnered with over 180 renowned local and international creatives and entrepreneurs across a variety of projects, including capacity-building workshops, countryside tours, concerts, summits, and webinars.

Tarama Rwanda has empowered 250 creative talents across various fields, including music, visual arts, photography, videography, dance, fashion, design, and deejaying. The organization facilitated internships with renowned institutions, offered recording sessions, provided local visibility on major stages, funded multiple initiatives, and conducted capacity-building workshops led by key industry experts.

Our team has successfully contributed to over 57 international and local events, ranging from conferences and festivals to fashion shows and corporate meetings. Notable events include the Trace Awards & Festival 2023, African In Colors Festival 2022/2023, 100 Most Notable African Leadership and Business Summit 2024, and The Stage Fashion Showcase 2023/2024, among others. This extensive experience has equipped us with the expertise and insight to ensure the success of your next event in Rwanda.
